The concert with which Camerata Junior, the Youth Orchestra of the Friends of Music and Orchestra in Residence of Megaron-The Athens Concert Hall, appears for the second time at the Nafplion Festival opens a new page in its history, as the Friends of Music String Orches- tra has recently been transformed into a Symphony Orchestra, adding a wind instruments section.

With its full ensemble and under the direction of conductor Nikos Haliassas, the Orchestra presents two masterpieces of music literature written by the great Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: the popular Symphony No. 40 and the famous Clarinet Concerto in A major, the composer’s last orchestral work.

The Camerata Junior is joined by the internationally acclaimed clari- netist Spyros Mourikis.
