Trio Artio was founded in Vienna by the Austrian violinist Judith Fliedl, the German cellist Christine Roider and the Austrian pianist Johanna Estermann

After four years of cooperation, they have proven what constitutes the essence of the ensemble – the shared fun on stage, the intensive communication with the audience and last but not least the urge to make music in an honest way with each other.

In addition to its debut at the Vienna Musikverein in 2019, the trio has achieved international exposure through concerts all around the world.

During the years 2020-22, the Trio Artio took part in the “New Austrian Sound of Music” support programme, a project established by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representing Austria internationally by performing concerts on stages around the world.
