Two keyboard instruments (accordion and piano) trace music from Greek tradition and the musical masterpieces of Manos Hadjidakis. The accordion acts as a paintbrush, spreading rich, passionate hues across the piano’s canvas and uniquely capturing Hadjidakis’ balanced sensitivity. It embraces the rebetiko of Tsitsanis and recalls the collective spirit of Greek folk singing.

I would describe the musical work ‘From the Keys to the Heart’ as a magical bridge linking the Greek folk song to the contemporary one of the 1950s and 1960s.
